What a great point you make. Yes, some people just don’t need to comment to feel they have participated to the fullest. That’s not their style.

Thanks for checking, but thankfully I was given a great tip on how to recover this morning. I found everything that was lost so now it's a matter of getting everything posted again!

Oh and do back your database up... you really don't want to deal with this. It's depressing thinking you've lost so many hours of work.

Man that sucks. I would suggest using the Google cache and the yahoo/msn cache for whatever they are worth, to rebuild as much as possible. Unfortunately, I don't cache pages in my browser :(

I checked the Internet Archive(Way back machine) and they had some stuff from 2007 in there, but I didn't see anything more recent.

I need to get better about backing up my blogs as well, because it is easy to mess up a database...

I'm not 100% sure what went wrong with my wordpress install, but when I tried to do a clean install I accidentally deleted my most recent database. Hence missing the last month and a half of posts. From now on I'll be doing much more recent backups... and to my computer as well.

Anyway if you find any posts let me know. Oh and if you want to get posts to your e-mail just fill your e-mail addy in at the top of the page, in the header.

How in the heck did that happen, that is crazy. Please let us know if you figure it out. I will check my google reader to see what I can find from the past. Also, am I able to subscribe via e-mail. I'm using feedburner for that at my site, and I like it better than the readers. If I had been able to to that, i would have all your stuff at my gmail address. Check into it and let me know.
Good luck,
Brandon

I don't have any of your posts, but there's a plugin for Wordpress that will backup your database according to the schedule that you specify. You can have the backups emailed to you.

http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups

Anyway: here is Google cache version of December 2008 - if you can't get your posts from anywhere else, you can try your luck there:
